Thyroid pills
My wife has no symptoms of thyroid but she checked her report thyroid was found but another report after two day from a better lab showed her report was normal.. but she went to the doctor and the doctor suggested to continue eltroxin pills. As it has no side effects said the doctor..
Is it really ok to have this pills or no side effects??.. even she has no thyroid.?.?

Did your wife took the thyroid pill the day she went for a repeat test??
In that case the report can be falsely normal.
It also depends on how grossly abnormal was 1st report and what dose you are currently taking.
Lab variations can occur but they should be minor. If major , you can go to the lab again and ask them to repeat the analysis.
Next Steps
If no hypothyroid is there, treatment should be stopped and 3mthly follow up for same in case of doubt should be done.
