I have been taking thyroxine sodium(ELTROXIN) 100 mcg for thyroid deficiency as per prescription. Yesterday i had thyroid function tested without taking regular dosage of Eltroxin. As per report i feel thyroid deficiency has been cured and right now i could the medicine. Please sugest.

Your reports are normal because you are on Eltroxin. Stopping tablet for a day or 2 doesn't alter the reports much. It takes 6 weeks for TSH to change. You should continue treatment with same dose
