FNAC thyroid report(from the swelling of left love of thyroid gland-3.2*2.0*1.96cm) Smear show good cellularity showing many groups ,masses and clusters of follicular cell most of which are admired with and surrounded by many lymphocytes . Few groups of askanazy cells are also seen. Few scattered lymphocytes and plasma cells are seen in all the areas. Scanty colloid is seen in a slightly hemorrhagic background. Cytological features are suggestive of hashimotos thyroiditis. What it mean ? Is it in any serious condition? My tsh was out of range of about 23.25. Now with thyronorm 50mcg and homeopathy medicines Tsh-4.92 Ft3-3.43 Ft4-1.19

Hashimotos thyroiditis is a common auto immune condition of thyroid gland which causes slow destruction of gland leading to hypothyroidism (decrease on thyroid hormone production) as expected you had high TSH and low T3 and T4 levels and appropriate treatment was started. You need to continue the medication
