FNAC thyroid report(from the swelling of left love of thyroid gland-3.2*2.0*1.96cm) Smear show good cellularity showing many groups ,masses and clusters of follicular cell most of which are admired with and surrounded by many lymphocytes . Few groups of askanazy cells are also seen. Few scattered lymphocytes and plasma cells are seen in all the areas. Scanty colloid is seen in a slightly hemorrhagic background. Cytological features are suggestive of hashimotos thyroiditis. What it mean ? Is it in any serious condition? My tsh was out of range of about 23.25.
