At the age of 5, I had thyroglossal cyst formed over my neck and I underwent surgery with few stitches. The scar of the sutures expanded and it developed a thick skin layer on my neck. Last week I underwent a cosmetic surgery to remove off the scar. The doctor removed the thick layer off and stitched the upper and lower thin part of the neck. The sutures are quite fresh now. Will eating non veg help me in recovering soon? How many days will it take for the sutures to completely absorb?
