In many people Vidal test can be falsely positive and this can stay positive even when there is no fever, this means that there was no typhoid disease, to diagnose typhoid it is important to do blood culture and typhidot as well
Typhoid cannot happen without fever and could not resolve without proper antibiotic treatment
