Thymic cyst

My father's age is 76.He is having a stent in heart.He is suffering from Lymphangioma(Thymic Cyst).There is a large thin walled cystic(Water density)lesion measuring 14.6TR×11.2cm.AP×11.04cm.(CC)occupying anterior mediastinum and extending into left thoracic cavity anteriorly.No solid element septae or calcification ils seen.It is extending from supra strenal notch upto left ventricular level.Left upper lobe is compressed . Remaining lungs are well expanded.Bronchiectatis is seen in bilateral

Hi. I understand your concern s . He will need to undergo a detailed examination. And analysis of the CT films. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest. If need be pulmonologist will direct you to a thoracic surgeon.
