Throat problem
My mother has problem in throat. Will online consultation be good for her? How doctor will check her throat and understand problem??
Sometimes a clinical history is also sufficient for any ailment to make a dianosis ... But if required ur doctor can alwaz ask u to make a in clinic visit if the problem persists ... Video consult is there as pts don't feel safe to travel to a clinic sometimes in pandemic era ... So depending upon the issues u can choose whichever way u want to connect to a doctor

Hi.
Nothing can replace a physical consultation with detailed examination in-person. However, taking an online consultation with a short video/photographs of the throat can help in a situation where the patient is not able to visit the doctor. I would certainly recommend a in-clinic consultation.
