My kid is 18 months old still not started speaking apart from telling mother.. need to know the ideal age kid's start speaking

Generally a child would speak about 10 words(may not be clear) by 18 months and by 2 years they should have a 50 word vocabulary with joining of 2 words together. What’s more important though is the understanding of language as spoken language has note variability.
