Tetanus problem

Sir yesterday one iron nail( which is very sharp and thin) get into my thumb it does not bleed. I have taken one tetanus injection in december2016 and  last titanus injection in month of july 2018 (6 month before from now) due to small cut in leg. should i take titanus injection again or not and also tell me for how long titanus injection remain valid.
