I believe you would mean B HCG.
If you wish to test for this hormone over the counter without a prescription, it would be best to do a urinary pregnancy test. It would tell you the presence of absence of this hormone above 12.5 Miu/ml in serum.
The laboratory requirements for serum B HCG differ in different Labs.
Do call up your local lab to check their requirements.
