Dear DR Please guide How tapering is done for Ramipril as I take Ramipril 5 mg & Ecosprin 75 once a day for high blood pressure with no other cardiac problem ,  from last 5 - 6 years & my Avg blood pressure remains on 130 - 135 till next dose.I stop taking ecosprin 75 a  week ago as guided by  Respected  Dr  after arising side effects Skin rashes . Now how I can taper Ramipril as I listen after age of 65 it also causes side effects .can tapering is required at this reading of BP Thanking you With regards

Do not taper ramipril. Your BP reading is normal because of ramipril. If you taper it your bp will rise again. Continue it as it is
