Syphilis VDRL and TPHA

I have done STD panel test twice in Nov 2019 and Mar 2020 and below are my results for syphilis. VDRL Nov 2019 : reactive with 1:4 titre Mar 2020 : reactive with 1:2 titre TPHA: Nov 2019 : positive Mar 2020 : positive What does this mean? I had taken sufficient Azithromycin in Dec 2019 and Jan 2020 for my sore throat problem. I have not taken penicillin shot. I do not have any body sores or cold problems since a long time. In my test results, it was mentioned as only titre above 1:8 are significant, so what does my titre mean ? I read somewhere TPHA will check for antibodies, so will TPHA be positive for life time ? I have not seen any doctor for these test results.
