Swollen lymph nodes
Hello, I have had a swollen lymph node for about ten months due to a really bad sore throat I developed in the begging of the year that lasted for a few months. Fast forward to now and the node is still there but now I also have another swollen lymph node under my jawline. I should mention that last night my gums were hurting really bad and tender to touch and I woke up this morning with my front gum a little swollen as well.
You seem to be suffering from acute cervical lymphadenitis secondary to throat and gum infection. Usually lymph nodes once enlargement may not go back to their normal size and if their size is less than 1cm it is considered normal. The lymph node which is enlarged now may need to be treated by antibiotics, analgesics and antiseptic mouth gargle
