My inner cheek gets swollen in every 15,20 days, and it is quiet painful, i have wisdom tooth on both the sides, once i got the exray done to which the doctor said that the growth is not normal and the wisdom is pushing the tooth next to it... is the swelling bcoz of the wisdom tooth?? Is there any other solution(painless) rather then extraction ?? I am phobic to injections. Please suggest. Thank you

Hi ma'am During Surgery. Your surgery should take 45 minutes or less. You'll get one of these types of anesthesia so you don't feel pain during the removal: Local: Your doctor will numb your mouth with a shot of Novocaine in your gums. You may also breathe nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, to relax or even doze during surgery. If it is the wisdom tooth that is the cause of your swelling then the best solution is extraction. Most injections are now painless. Your dentist can apply a surface anesthetiser before injection so you will not get any pain
