Swollen feet and legs

My dads both the legs are swollen from around 1 week. He had brain stroke last year. ..according to the doctor he is fit now...he is on anti-epilepsy now. he has high bp and type 2 diabetes mellitus. He was admitted to the hospital two months ago for the sudden fall in the sodium potassium and magnesium level. His creatinine level is 2.90 now. His eyesight is also decreasing day by day due to diabetic retinopathy.he also faces difficulties is paasing the urine.His sugar level Flactuates .....the lowest was 48 and highest 245. The medicines he is taking now are: Morning Pan d (before bf) Insulin -human mixtard 30/70 (14 pts) Revital h (after BF). prolomet xl 50 (after lunch) Cilacar 10 (after lunch) Levera 750 (after lunch) Insulin-human mixtard 30/70 (8pts) (before dnr) Levera 750 (after dnr) Cilacar 10 (after dnr) Softeron (after dnr) He also has itching on his back for which the doctor gave atarax 10 And for the swollen legs he gave dytor 10.

Try to reduce his weight .. he is overweight .. always keep his foot elevated .( to reduce foot swelling ) while sleeping keep 2 pillows beneath his foot .. while sitting put a bench under his foot.. sugar levels should be controlled by short n frequent meals ( a bowl of serving every 2-3 hours ) .., walking for at least 30 mins a must .. empty stomach give karela jamun juice
