Swollen eyes and thready eyemud in eyes

My brother is a student and medical aspirant so he has to spend most of the time in laptop or mobile attending online classes. This lead to headache and eye pain. After waking up in the morning his eyes are always swollen, red and full of thread like eye mud that he has to take out with hand from them. Under eye portion is always swollen. He sleeps for 4-5 hours only. Headache don't go in any condition only it get lessen after medicine or massage. Plz suggest online consultation will be enough or we need to consult personally as he has his exam on 13th September. I've attached a photo showing his eyes before and after.
