Swollen ankle which I broke

Doctor,I broke my ankle 2 months back.It was plastered and I've recovered.Now I'm suffering from another problem.M y akle is swelling extremely.My doctor advised me to use crepe bandage but it is of no use.I have tried lots of medicines but nothing is happening.While I'm walking my ankle is swelling more and more.Plz help me out...

Post fracture swelling may persist for couple of months.  Use limb elevation.  U may do hot water filtration with magnesium sulfate powder 3 to 4 times a day.
