Swelling in scrotum

Hi, my right side of scrotum pouch swells at times. Sometimes swellings stays for many days and then it comes to normal size. Right side is always bigger even in normal state. Also sometimes I feel pain in scrotum area. I did consult a doctor long back and I was told that this is just because of hormonal changes.
