Swelling in neck

I am having this problem from last 2 years. Feels like something is stuck in my neck. Many times water or cough or my spit getting stuck in the neck and difficult to getting back my breath. I feel it is something serious because its happens 2 times till date during my sleep including today and this time it was really difficult to recover my breath. I don't have any pain in my neck. Please suggest
