Swelling in Legs

My Mitral Valve was replaced with mechanical valve on 28th Jan. From 22nd Feb, I noticed swelling in legs. Earlier I was on Lasix and same was stopped from 23rd Feb. Since then swelling has increased. My weight has also increased from 77 Kg to 78.6 kg in last 3 days. Daily liquid intake is restricted to 1lt.

Well..are you following that limited water intake? How much is the urine output?is it reduced? I suggest you to consult a physician or the cardiologist as the swelling might be due to retention of fluid in body..or due to cardiac drugs you are on....it would have been helpful if you had shared other drugs you are on...third thing is any deep vein thrombosis...so please consult the doctor at the earliest
