Hello, I cut the back of my calf on Monday and got stitches within a few hours of the accident. I'm slightly worried because the biggest wound that the stitches are in, is swelling? It's quite red around the stitches on the deeper side of the cut. I have been letting the wounds breath, and applying Polysporin with bandages when I need to go to work or out in public for a long time. I'm planning on visiting the doctor, I just wanted a little in for on if it's supposed to be swelling and red? Thx!
