Swelling and acute pain around knee

I have been working out properly for over an year, but for last 2 months I haven't been able to do any movements concerning the knee. I have trouble climbing up and down the stairs too. There is also  accute swelling below the knee

It seems u r having osteochodritis disssicans ( articular cartilage swelling). for the time u need painkillers.  And physiotherapy.  But if nots subsidi g then see an orthopaedic consultant.
