Sweaty hands and feet

I experience sweaty hands and feet throughout the day. I have tested negative for thyroid. I am sweaty even in an air conditioned room. I tried Aldry lotion but it didn't work. Kindly suggest an alternative antiperspirant lotion or something.

Hyperhidrosis treatment usually involves prescription-strength antiperspirants on the affected areas. Rarely, an underlying cause may be found and treated. For persistent hyperhidrosis, you may need to try different medications or other therapies. In severe cases, your doctor may suggest surgery either to remove the sweat glands or to disconnect the nerves responsible for the overproduction of sweat.

Thanks for the query. You seem to be having a condition called hyperhidrosis. On evaluation, a cause can be found on few occasions and that can be helpful to treat you. Many a times when the cause is not known , empirical treatments are offered like the ones you are doing. Iontophoresis and botulinum toxins are other treatment options with independent merits and demerits. Discuss about oral medications also with your doctor.
