Hi Meena Melwani Age 66yrs female Suggest medical action basis right shoulder mri impression shared below IMPRESSION- Moderate Supraspinatus and Subscapularis tendinosis. Complete tear of the Infraspinatus tendon and posterior 1/3 rd -half of the Supraspinatus tendon, with 3.8 cm retraction of the tendons. Moderate atrophy of the Supraspinatus and Infraspinatus muscle. Mild subacromial-subdeltoid bursal effusion. A few small subcm-sized intraosseous cysts in lateral part of the humeral head, degenerative.

Hello She has a complete tear of the supraspinatous muscle. Would like to know how much of functionally impaired she is? She can be on the trial of physiotherapy to see how much she functionally recovers and based on that further steps can be taken. If she has difficulty in performing her day today activities would suggest for a surgical intervention.
