Suffering from fever
My daughter (3.9 yrs 15kg) is suffering from fever, yesterday we had given T98 (4ml) at 4.30 PM when fever was 100 but after 4 hours temperature was 102.8 then we gave T98 (4ml) again but still temprature was around 100 - 102 then we gave maftal-p (7ml) after 3 hours at 11.45 PM and after this we also did sponge for around 1 hour but still fever is around 101.5 now so can we give another dose of maftal-p now after 3.30 hours?

High grade fever is managed with antipyretics
Give syp t 98 ds (250) 5.0 ml every 8 hourly for 2 days
Give syp meftal p 5 .0 ml every 8 hourly for 2 days
Both the medicine to be given alternately like
M-T-M-T-M-T A at a gap of 4 hours
Do whole body sponging with lukewarm water if fever does not subside even after 30 mints of medicine being given till temperature goes down below 100.
