Sudden Jerks While Sleeping

It has been happening frequently, like thrice in the past 2 weeks. Whenever, I am trying to sleep and closing my eyes, after a few moments I am finding myself awakened by a sudden jerk. I am feeling a bit restless hence and again trying to sleep, but the jerks just would not. What does this indicate? How do i find a remedy for it?

Jerks occurring while falling asleep are a normal phenomenon. Just ignore them and go back to sleep.
