What ointment can be used to reduce the stye swelling and shrink it.Can Nebracin ointment be used?Also can hormonal changes cause stye ?
Hello Ma'am..a picture of eye would have helped..Yes hormonal changes too can cause Stye..You can use Eye ointment Nebracin once at bed time for 10 days but according to me better to opt for online consultation where we can have a video call for better understanding of the issue and proper treatment..

Few instructions:
(1) Hot compress to both eyes 3 times a day for 15 days ( Can dip clean cotton in warm drinking water and keep over closed eyes for 30 seconds)
(2) Avoid rubbing of eye
(3) Eye hygiene with baby shampoo 2 times a day for 15 days (Take on tip of your index finger any baby shampoo say Johnson baby shampoo or Himalaya baby shampoo , wet your eyes and gently rub the shampoo with your finger on closed eyes for 15 seconds and thoroughly wash off with drinking water)
