I've been ill with diahorrea and vomiting for last for day and have been on Depo provera for about 3 years but yesterday found I was having a strange black/brownish discharge like a period

Depo Provera can cause intermittent breakthrough bleeding due to hormonal variations in body. It will stop in 2 to 3 days.

But if bleeding increases and also accompanied with pain abdomen then show to gynaecologist.
Health Tips
Diarrhoea and vomiting may not be related to this bleeding per vaginum.
