Stool issue in 7 months daughter

2020-05-02 14:31:14
Hello, My daughter is 7 months old and I have started giving her solids like cerelac, Ragi porridge, pulse water etc. But she has started passing stool more than earlier like 3 to 4 times in a day. Sometimes the colour of poop is green with lumps and sometimes yellow which has liquid consistency. Also the area near her anal has become red. Please help me with the concern. I am also giving her gripe water and bonasin, is it ok or not.

1. Urgently stop using gripe water and bonasin. Gripe water contains harmful chemicals which are using nowadays in hair shampoos. Bonasin is ayurvedic.. no need to use that         Buy "Colic Aid drops "  for excessive cry in babies 2. Main dietary issue : You are going aggressively on this.. u r giving more than the digestion capacity. Solute load on stomach is high. Change in stool consistency and peri anal redness is because of undigested carbohydrates mainly Lactose. Withheld ragi for 1more month. Try only cerelac and fruits... Best is smashed rice with ghee and dal.
Next Steps
be gentile in increasing the diet .
Health Tips
take monthly weight gain
