Hi, I am having stones in gall bladder and i have been diagnosed but i have some infection in intestine as well due to which i am feeling much pain that is somtimes unbearable. I have consulted many doctors some say that they can operate and some told that right now infection needs to be controlled. I was hospitalized as well for a week but still the condition is not well. Need an advice whether we can proceed with an operation or we have to wait

Raised wbc counts doesn't mean that the infection is there only in the abdomen It might be because of any infection in your entire body. Even if there is infection in the region of gall bladder then , the latest guidelines say that it can be operated within 72 hours of presentation. So the presence of infection doesn't negate the ability to operate For the need of gall stone surgery , you can go through this article written by me "Gall Stone Management- an Enigma" by Dr.Saurabh Uplenchwar - https://www.practo.com/healthfeed/gall-stone-management-an-enigma-45752/post
Next Steps
you can get a CBC done to see the trend of WBC count. if they are normal now you can get operated.
Health Tips
the gall stone in your case seems to be impacted in the neck of the gall bladder. it will cause acute or chronic cholecystitis and will need operation better to get it done asap laparoscopic surgery has very less complications in this regard
