Raised wbc counts doesn't mean that the infection is there only in the abdomen
It might be because of any infection in your entire body.
Even if there is infection in the region of gall bladder then , the latest guidelines say that it can be operated within 72 hours of presentation. So the presence of infection doesn't negate the ability to operate
