My father is suffering from fever from last two weeks. Doctor advise for dolo 650 mg but fever on & off. Test are done reports are normal. CT scan abdomen done & found stone in the gall bladder & perforation in gall bladder . Consulting PGIMER Chandigarh surgery department they go for the operation of gall bladder later. My question is that is it risky to wait for operation as I m afraid of spreading infection in body should I go for operation at private hospital or wait for some more time. CT scan & ultrasound report attached with other reports. Father has diabetics problem also. Losses weight 15 kg in last week now having problem of eyesight also. Sugar level yesterday is 120 after meal. He is taking insulin 30 70 morning & evening.

Hello there. ... . There is no permanent medical cure for gallstones. Although there are medical measures that can be taken to remove stones or relive symptoms, they are only temporary. If a patient has symptoms from gallstones, surgical removal of the gallbladder is the best treatment. Asymptomatic (producing no symptoms) gallstones do not require treatment....... Consult surgeon......
