Stomach burning problem

Hi, I have stomach burning problem which is very often even with bland diet. Whenever stomach burns, body also shows some inflammation like internal fever I could feel. It causes more urination till this inflammation clears. Functional medicine doctor told like I have low stomach acid level. Kindly clarify whether low stomach acid level cause stomach burning?
