Spotting, missed period, negative HPT

I did not get my usual period. I began spotting a few days before I expected it so I took a test one week after the expected day. It was negative. I began having red/pink discharge then it turned brown. Then I began lightly bleeding for almost 2 weeks. I have no had morning sickness, sore breasts or any other symptoms of pregnancy. At times, the discharge or bleeding had an odor.
