2025-04-06 15:37:28
I have been taking pexep cr 12.5mg for three years now.Recently i got diabetes so i have decided to taper this off as I am taking therapy as well. My doctor started tapering but she advised to cut it parts wise. I was looking about this medicine and on the note it says : do not crush or chew. It is scored as well,so can I cut it even if its cr ,otherwise how can i taper it.Please advise.

A controlled release tablet may not be effective after breaking. Take a plain preparation instead for tapering.
