I've been experiencing the pains of sore throat for a long time, But the pains weren't consistent and were not so severe but since yesterday, I've been experiencing excruciating pain in my throat and scratchiness followed by high fever, running and sometimes blocked nose and body ache. I've consulted a family doctor, who prescribed me with a few medicines. But what brings me here is the fact that i smoke and i wanna know if there's anything else i can do to feel better apart from quiting smoking (which i already did since yesterday).
