This looks like longitudinal melanonychia. It may b common to have this in dark and brown skin races including Indians and is usually not significant. So don't worry. However if it's bothering you, it's worthwhile to show it to a dermatologist physically and approve of the same because opinions that are typed here may not have a medico legal bearing.
