Solar eclipse damages

At work today, when I observed people looking out through the glass window, I joined them and accidentely looked at the eclipse that took place today. I was wearing contacts and looked through the office glass window when the eclipse had just started. About one fourth of the crescent shaped sun was visible and it was cloudy. Must have been a minute, before I realised that I shouldn't be doing it and looked away. My vision seems fine though I feel I have a headache. Not sure if it was the eclipse or my sinus. Have I caused any damage to my eyes and Should I have my eyes checked?

Good Morning Even a glimpse of Solar eclipse without protective glasses can cause damage to retina Do you feel any problem in vision? Any disturbance in vision Or scotoma? If there are no symptoms then chances of damage are less but  Sometimes, symptoms appear hours after exposure... So be cautious Having said that, In case of any doubt it is always better to consult local ophthalmologist Regards
