My father is 58 yrs old weighing 70kg and height 5ft7". He has lost his sense of both smell (about 80%)and taste (about 70%) last 4 yrs. Note: no diabetes, no thyroid, no BP, no cardio problems

This seems to have something to do with nerves. You should consult a Neurologist or Internal medicine Physician
