I've been prescribed lymecycline which I've been taking for 7 days now. My skin seems to have got slightly worse, with a big cyst on my cheek (which I don't normally get). Do the antibiotcs work by pushing impurities to the surface? How long would I normally expect to wit to see results?

revisit your doctor so that he can examine again and suggest a change in the antibiotic if needed. Also if it is forming an abscess drainage of person in the required which he can gauge only by examination. Hope this is helpful.
