Most Bankart's lesions can be repaired with suture anchors placed by arthroscopy.
Large bony defects(Hill Sach's lesions) may need Latarjet procedure. But very few patients with recurrent dislocations need this.
Rarely do they need an open procedure.
As far as hemicap is concerned, it is joint replacement and this is useful for those who have arthritis or loss of cartilage in the joint. I wouldn't recommend this for recurrent shoulder dislocation.
