Sinus, runny nose, fever & throat infect
I have been suffering from acute sinusitis along with a heavy runny nose for the past two days. The pain from the sinusitis has spread all over the forehead, along the eyebrows, nose and to the cheek bones as well. I have been sneezing continuously and along with a low fever I am also having problems swallowing anything as it is hurting near the tonsils (which has been a problem for me over the past due to infections and pharyngitis).

Hi there. This is Dr SATYA KIRAN - ENT Surgeon from Hyderabad. As per ur description of symptoms u suffer from allergic rhino sinusitis.
No need of surgery if symptoms are for few days or weeks. Chronic if more than 3 months n may require surgery.
At present u need to take an antibiotic course along with antihistamines n supportive medication
