Does cycstoscpy need to know reason for post void..is it safe for 5 yr old kid and does it need to hospitlized..can we detect the problem by MCU rather than cystoscopy?

MCU is required  to rule out  posterior  urethral  valve  ,neurogenic bladder etc Accordingly  we go for cystoscopy
