Hello dr, Since 8 to 10 days i have started experiencing severe palpitations even with trivial exertion, severe shortness of breath along with swelling on hands, feet and on face and feeling pressurized in chest with very very minimal exertion like getting up from toilet seat, changing position from one side to other side while sleeping and start palpitating . I went to dr yesterday. He ordered to get done my ECG and 2D Echo. Both the tests are normal. LVEF is 60%. Also did Kidney function test, liver function test, serum electrolytes, CBC. All the reports are normal except mild increment in total, direct and indirect bilirubin in liver function test and leucocytes count is 12100 which is slightly high.

All the reports that you have done are suggesting that there within normal limit except the total count which is slightly elevated and indicates some infection. Kindly look for any source of infection like respiratory or urinary tract infections if any. Palpitations can occur even due to anxiety or could be related to any other infections and related illnesses. Get your thyroid profile done. ECG echo if with the normal limit rules out Cardiac causes of palpitation.
