Shatavari usually does not cause headache as side effect, but can cause digestive disturbances which may cause dull headache. Please share details of your headache. It takes  2 weeks or little more for healing ulcer.

Shatavri powder is useful to manage gastric ulcers however there are unknown side-effects apart from the documented ones such as increase in estrogen sensitive conditions and various drug interactions. I would suggest going with allopathy in this case if you have documented presence of stomach ulcers. If not then feel free to contact me and I could help you out some more and point you towards a quick and easy cure.
Next Steps
I would suggest a spice free diet for some time and to get documented evidence of stomach ulcers if not already obtained via oesophago-gastro-duodenoscopy. for further medical management information feel free to contact me.
Health Tips
avoid spicy foods
