While having intercourse, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my abdomen and had to stop. The pain was like really bad period cramps and was internal. It didnt hurt when I was resting in certain positions and subsided after 30-40 mins. What could be the reason for this abdominal pain? My abdominal muscles were strained a little the previous night so could it be that sex aggravated it to cause such a sudden sharp pain or a muscle pull? I have never experienced such pain before and usually dont feel pain during intercourse either.
