Sgpt and sgot high level

Sir/ma'am,I had c-section before two months and after two months there is some abnormal bleeding so my doctor prescribed me regestrone 5mg and now day I checked my sgpt and sgot level is 1157 and 400.currently doctor is stopped regestrone ..So now my levels of sgpt and sgot is normal automatically or I should consult to lever specialist???

The regesterone is NOT the cause of your elevated liver enzymes. You need to meet a Liver specialist or Gastroenterologist and get examined. Liver is the seat for production of blood clotting factors and hence any damage to liver by infections like hepatitis or by gall stone induced obstructive jaundice may cause bleeding. of course the bleeding could also be due to any gynec problems like infections in lining of uterus. So met a liver specialist ASAP
