Hello madam, Burning and itching in the eyes can have a variety of causes.It could be an infective or an allergic cause.it can also occur due to dryness of the eyes/contact lens use/laptop overuse,etc.Is the redness in the evening associated with pain? I ask because redness with pain which happens in the evening could be related to raised intraocular pressure.so my advice would be to consult an ophthalmologist and get your eyes checked. Thanks
