I need to know whether the cough is dry or productive and whether you are having any associated fever. Cough which persists for a longer time may be due to infection or allergy. Usually allergic cough is dry. Seasonal asthma may also cause persistent cough. If it is a dry cough predominantly at it may be due to reflux symptoms.
