Severe cough
For the past two weeks I'm suffering from severe cough can't able to sleep also in the night if cough starts continously I'm getting about 10-15 cough which leads to pain all over the chest. I don't smoke at all. No drinks, no tobacco habits too.

I need to know whether the cough is dry or productive and whether you are having any associated fever. Cough which persists for a longer time may be due to infection or allergy. Usually allergic cough is dry. Seasonal asthma may also cause persistent cough. If it is a dry cough predominantly at it may be due to reflux symptoms. In that case it is advisable to have an early dinner and wait for 2-3 hours before going to sleep. It is advisable to visit your physician for clinical examination. Some basic tests like chest X ray and sputum examination may be done.
