According to Ayurved,Malvastamb(can be compared to constipation) is due to apan vayu dusri there are several reasons for it .....dry & porus food in diet, insufficient water intake, insufficient fat intake which helps in lubrication of stool for easy evacuation . Eating more amount of bakery products,stale & fermented foods,less fibre intake also leads to constipation.
Next Steps
increase water intake (lukewarm prefered),
Increase fibrous food,
A2 cow ghee in diet (1/2 tsp in 2 meals),
yogasans for toning abdominal muscles ex:suryanamaskar,naukasan,kapalbhati
