For vaginal infaction dr. prescribed to use sertacream b in vagina, whereas it is mentioned on the cream to use for external use only, is it safe to use this cream inside the vagina.

External use only means not taken by oral route .but you can safely apply on vagina .don't worry.

In case of itching and infection dr would have prescribed it to use on the outer skin not for inserting it inside the vagina. Plz ask your dr again.
